How Can You Get “Plugged In” at Trinity
Adult Ministries

At
Trinity we value relationships. God didn’t
design us to live on our own. Small groups
help us connect with others at a similar stage of life and build long term friendships.
The
goal of these groups can be summarized as:
You
can learn more about these groups and how to
become involved in them from our Small Groups brochure at the information table
outside of the church office or from our web site

Children’s Ministries
Children are our precious gifts from God and the
future of the church. It is our desire to teach
them about Christ in relevant ways, to help them
build solid Christian friendships, and to guide
them as they grow in Christ.
Bringing Christ to our children begins at the
infant level with a comfortable nursery that is
staffed with caring adults and trained teen
helpers. Sunday School for children begins at 9:15
AM.
On Wednesday evenings we offer a children's
program called Club 345. This ministry if
for children in grades 3rd, 4th and 5th.
Club 345 meets at Franklin Elementary School from
6:30 - 8:00 pm.

Church Life
As
we grow to become more like Christ it is important
for our church to spend time together as an entire
church family. Church body activities are a
regular part of our church life. Activities
in the past have included: A Church Pig Roast, Sand Volleyball
Games (on our own
courts), Wild Game Dinners, Water-skiing and Boating
Parties, a 50’s Car Hop and
Marriage Enrichment Seminars.
Our
Message, Methods, Mission
and Goal
Are
you aware that the church in America is in
numerical decline? Dr. Win Arn reports that 80 to
85 percent of the churches in America have either
plateaued or are dying. At the same time the
percentage of those who do not know Christ in our
country has grown from 41% in 1978 to almost 50%
in just 20 years. Statistically, the younger portion
of our population is in greatest need of Christ.
Research indicates that while 80% of 80 year olds have
been presented with Christ; only
40% of 40 years olds are aware of the Gospel and
only 20% of 20 year olds.
As
we have evaluated how to be
effective in the new millennium, 4 guiding
principles have emerged as the heart of who we
feel Christ is calling us to be.
Our Message is Christ
We
believe that salvation and truth are to be found
in and taught from the Bible. The fundamental
problem of every human being is sin and the only
solution is found through a personal
relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Our
belief that the Bible is God’s infallible word
and Jesus Christ is the only way to restore our
relationship with God is the backbone that
supports our church.
Our Methods are Relevant and Relational
Rather than being tied to traditions and
rituals, we believe that God has called us to be
relevant and relational to our community.
We strive to have our Biblical teaching reach
the 21st century rather than leaving it stuck in
the 1st century. We highly value Christ centered relationships through
Small Groups and our children/youth
ministries.
Our Mission is Changed Lives
The Christian life is one where we are
constantly growing and discovering rooms of our
heart that we have not given control of to
Jesus. Our vision is to encourage one
another toward full Christian maturity.
Our Goal is Multiplying Believers for Ministry
The genius of a wrench is that it is a tool
which provides you with leverage to turn bolts
none of us couldn’t on our own. As a body of
believers teaming together for the honor of
Christ, we can provide leverage to do things
together that we never could on our own.
Strategizing and striving to witness for Christ
together will provide us with opportunities that
non of us would have individually. We
believe that God has called us to use our
leverage for Him.
